Week 3 at the new job and I finally closed a sale without my manager shadowing me
It was just a small upsell on a service contract, but my hands were shaking the whole time and the customer actually said "good call" at the end. Has anyone else had those moments where a tiny win feels way bigger than it should?

Congrats on the sale! That feeling is super real. My first solo upsell was just a warranty add on for like $50, but I was so nervous I almost forgot the script. The customer ended up saying something like "your confidence really sold me" and I floated the rest of the day. Those small wins are the building blocks, they prove you can actually do this on your own. It's less about the dollar amount and more about that first taste of trusting your own judgement in the moment. That rush is addictive in a good way, keep chasing it.

...and then I had one of those moments where I got so excited about the upsell I completely blanked on the customer's name mid-sentence. I'm standing there like "so Mr... uh... sir, do you want the extended plan?" He just laughed and said "it's Dave, and yes, you've sold me." Pretty sure I turned three shades of red but man, that feeling of pulling it off anyway stuck with me longer than that $50 commission ever could. Those little wins are like cheat codes for your confidence, they just pile up.
