Dropped $180 on a pocket hole jig kit and it sat in the box for 4 months
Bought a Kreg K5 kit at the Rockler in Denver back in March. Swore I would use it on every cabinet job. Opened it twice. The drill guide kept slipping on hard maple and I went back to my old dowel setup. That is $180 plus a $30 clamp I did not need sitting in my truck bed. If you are on the fence about pocket screws for face frames, borrow one first. What jig did you actually stick with?
