Hit 500 finished jobs last month and it messed with my head

Been keeping a rough tally in my phone since I started solo in 2019. Not for bragging, just tax stuff. 500 felt like a big round number so I checked the log. What got me was the pattern. Job 1 to 100 took me 2 years. 100 to 200 took 14 months. The last 100 took 6 months. I'm not working faster, I'm working pickier. Turns out saying no to the cheap trim jobs and the 'while you're here' add-ons tripled my output of real work. Anyone else see their numbers jump when they stopped taking every job that came through?
