My $200 track saw changed my mind about hand tools

Used to be one of those guys who swore by hand tools for everything. Thought power tools just made shortcuts. Then I dropped $200 on a used track saw from a guy on FB Marketplace after I messed up a straight cut on a kitchen cabinet panel. That thing cut dead straight in 30 seconds with zero tearout. Honestly it saved me the hassle of planing and sanding for hours. Has anyone else switched teams after one good tool purchase?

A track saw just saves mistakes, that's why it's worth it.

Used to roll my eyes at people praising track saws, honestly. Figured it was just another power tool making easy work out of something you should learn to do right by hand. Then I borrowed a buddy's for a single rip cut on some plywood and I couldn't believe it. No tearout, no measuring ten times, just this perfect edge in under a minute. It's like... it doesn't take the skill away, it just lets you focus on actually building stuff instead of fighting your tools. That one cut really cracked my whole mindset wide open.
