Learned to stretch from the outside corner in, not the middle out, on a 3-room job in Mesquite
Three years back I got called to redo a stretch in a rental in Mesquite and the old installer had started in the middle of the room, which pulled the whole thing crooked at both doorways. I tried working from the outside corner inward with the power stretcher and the backing lined up way easier, maybe 20 minutes saved per room. Now I mark my start corner with chalk before I even roll out the pad. Anyone else got a start point they swear by, or am I the only one doing corners first?
