My knee kicked out on the stairs 6 weeks ago mid job, and my whole install game changed
Last Tuesday I was carrying a 12 foot roll of berber up a flight of stairs in a house over on Franklin and my left knee just gave out around the 7th step. I had to sit on the landing for 10 minutes while the homeowner pretended not to watch me through the railing. Ended up finishing the stretch with a brace on and did the whole room on my knees instead of standing like I normally do. Weird part is the knee pads I never used because they felt clunky actually saved me that day. Anyone else switch their whole install style after their body told them no?
Did you notice how your body kinda forces you into new ways of doing stuff you never would've tried otherwise? Funny how the clunky thing you hated ends up being the one that saves you.
