That one day everything went wrong with a stair install in Omaha

I was doing a set of stairs in a split level last Tuesday and my power stretcher head snapped off halfway through. Then the homeowner's cat ran across the wet glue and left paw prints on 3 treads. I spent an extra 2 hours fixing it and the cat kept coming back. Has anyone else had a pet ruin a fresh install?

Wait, what kind of cat was it? Asking because my buddy had a similar issue with a Maine Coon that seemed to think fresh glue was a personal invitation. Did you figure out a way to keep it away after that, or just give up and let it be the boss of the job?

Hate when that happens. @kelly.emma my orange tabby did the same thing with wood stain. Ended up locking him in the bathroom while I worked. Wasn't ideal but kept him out of trouble.
