Why does nobody talk about how loud a knee kicker is in an empty house?
Was stretching a 3 bedroom in a vacant house in Boise last Tuesday and the echo off the bare walls almost blew my ears out, way worse than any occupied job I've done. Do you guys bring earplugs for empties or just tough it out?

Man, you are not kidding about the echo in an empty place. It gets even worse when the rooms are all bare because there is nothing to soak up the sound, so that crack just bounces off every wall and comes right back at you. I started keeping a cheap pair of foam plugs in my bag just for vacant jobs, and honestly my ears thank me by the end of the day.
