My neighbor in Denver said the classic car show at the coffee shop is 'just a parking lot with extra steps'
Last Saturday I was at the 8am meet off Colfax and my neighbor Dave, who drives a beat up 1998 Tacoma with 312,000 miles, told me he thinks paying $20 to park in a lot full of shiny cars is a waste of a morning. I laughed it off but then I counted 14 cars in the show lot and 27 people standing around taking photos of their own reflections in other people's paint jobs, and he kind of had a point. So is the real move showing up to these meets with a car nobody wants to look at, or am I just mad Dave got under my skin?
