That guy with the lifted truck at the 7am Cars and Coffee in Austin nearly took out a Miata

Last Saturday at the Domain parking lot meet, some dude in a jacked up Ram 2500 tried to park in a compact spot. He clipped a curb, almost rolled over a parked NA Miata, and then blamed the coffee for making him spill his drink. I swear these mall crawlers need to learn their vehicle width before showing up at 7am. Has anyone else had a close call with an oversized truck at a meet?

Did you see if the Miata's paint at least survived?

Wait the paint survived but the rest of the car didn't? @olivia_morgan8 that's wild. The whole front end was probably crumpled up like a soda can but the paint stayed perfect. I guess Mazda puts all their budget into the clear coat and skips everything else. Still sucks though, a Miata in good shape is hard to find these days.
