TIL a $60 junkyard alternator beats a $180 reman, but you gotta bench test it first
I had to pick between a reman alternator from the parts store down the street in Dayton for $180 or pulling one myself from a wrecked 2003 Camry at Pick-n-Pull for $60, and the junkyard one has been humming along for 4 months now, so my tip is to bring a multimeter and spin the pulley by hand before handing over cash, which has anyone else had good luck with yard electrical parts or do you all just buy reman?
