Sounds like those blades were made of recycled soda cans and false hope.

My buddy Dave did the same thing back in 2019 and those cheap foam squares from Amazon did squat for his neighbor's bass. What actually helped was a thick rug and a heavy bookshelf against the shared wall, mostly because it broke up the empty space that sound loves to bounce around. Sound goes through walls, not around them, so adding stuff on your side only does so much.
