Bought a $400 power trowel blade kit that was junk
I grabbed a set of those cheaper float blades off Amazon last month for a big warehouse slab in Kansas City. The finish looked great for the first 20 minutes, then they started leaving swirl marks that would not burn out no matter what I did. Had to diamond grind 3,000 square feet to fix it, that cost me a weekend and about $800 in labor. Anyone else get burned by discount blades or is there a brand that actually holds up for less than the pro stuff?
