Found a cheap way to fix a sagging headliner without replacing the whole thing

My 2002 Camry's headliner started drooping bad last month, looked like a tent inside. I tried the spray adhesive route years ago on another car and it just peeled off again after a few weeks. This time I got some decorative push pins from the dollar store and stuck them up in a pattern, cost me maybe $2 total. It actually looks kinda cool and hasn't budged in 4 weeks of driving through 90 degree heat. Anyone else tried something dumb like this that actually worked out?

Push pins in a dollar store pattern sounds janky but I've seen worse hold up honestly... I glued a coffee can lid to my headliner once to cover a burn hole and it stayed for like two years before I sold the car. Heat cycles in a car are brutal but sometimes the stupid fixes just work.

Wait, you mean those cheap push pins actually held up through real heat? I've seen headliners melt in way less than 90 degrees so that's honestly wild it worked.
