Rant: Lost $50 to a parking app because I only carry cash
Had to run into a city garage downtown that only took an app for payment. I had the cash, but no card linked to my phone, so I had to download the app and link an account on the spot, which took forever. The app charged a $5 'convenience fee' for the first hour, and I got a $45 ticket because the whole thing made me late for my appointment. Anyone else run into this kind of hidden fee trap when you're trying to pay the old way?

My phone is so slow I'd probably still be downloading the app. Cash should just work.
