Showerthought: I used to swipe my card for a $2 coffee, now I dig for quarters and it hurts less
Last Tuesday I stood at the counter in Portland counting out $3.85 in change for a latte while the guy behind me tapped his phone, and I didn't feel weird about it until he sighed. Now I'm wondering if anyone else plans their coffee stops around which shops still take bills under $5, or if I'm the only one doing math in my head before I even walk in.
