Warning: spent $11 on a 20 lb bag of lentils and my roommates staged an intervention
I figured 20 lbs of lentils for $11 would feed me for a semester but I didn't think about how they look in the pot, like tiny wet gravel that never ends. By day 6 my roommate Marcus sniffed the air and asked if I was cooking or punishing myself, and honestly he had a point. Has anyone found a cheap way to make lentils not taste like the same meal for the 9th time in a row?
