The $1400 oven that died after 11 months

Bought a fancy convection oven for the restaurant kitchen last February. The control board fried during a busy Friday service. Manufacturer said the warranty only covered parts, not labor. Repair quote was $600 on top of what I already paid. Has anyone else had luck getting a full replacement on a lemon like this?

That "parts only, not labor" line is exactly how they get you. 11 months is way too short for any oven to die, especially one that costs that much. You paid for a working machine, not a repair bill. I'd push back hard and ask for a manager, not the first person you talked to. Sometimes they'll bend if you're firm about it. Honestly, if they won't help, I'd leave a bad review and never buy from them again.
