Hit my 200th clean brush today and I almost missed it

I was just going through my log book to update my insurance and realized I passed 200 cleanings sometime last month. I didn't even notice. That number caught me off guard because when I started out 3 years ago I figured I'd be lucky to get 50 a year. Most of those are regulars now too. Anybody else keep track of their count or just kinda let it build up without paying attention?

Nah, I don't keep a log. Seems like overkill to me. I just show up, do the job, and move on. Insurance doesn't need that level of detail where I'm at, it's all by the month anyway.

Whoa hold on man, I gotta push back on that. I hear what you're saying about it feeling like overkill, but honestly logs are a lifesaver when something goes wrong. I've had customers try to claim I didn't show up or that I caused damage, and having that written record saved my butt every single time. Plus if you ever get audited or need to prove when you serviced something for a warranty claim, you'll be glad you have it. It takes like two minutes to jot down the date, address, and what you did. Insurance might not ask for it now, but one bad claim could change that real quick. Just my two cents from getting burned without one back in the day lol.
