That creosote buildup chart in the NFPA 211 handbook caught me off guard

I was flipping through the 2022 edition last Tuesday while waiting on a job in the suburbs, and it said even a quarter inch of glazed creosote can cut draft efficiency by almost 60 percent. I always figured it was more about the fire hazard, not just the airflow, but now I'm second guessing every chimney I've called borderline. Has anyone else seen that stat and actually changed how they pitch a cleaning to a homeowner?

Yeah, now I bring a camera and show the glaze close up. Sales pitch writes itself.
