That hot roof Tuesday made me rethink my ladder habits
Was on a 12/12 in Albany last week, creosote so thick it looked like bark. Halfway down the extension slipped two rungs on the wet shingles, caught myself on the gutter. Now I tie off at the top and bottom every single job, even the quick ones. Anyone else have a close call that changed how they rig their ladders?
