Hit 500 consecutive free throws in my driveway and I don't know what to do with that energy
So this past Sunday I was just messing around after fixing my neighbors sprinkler heads, shooting hoops like I do most evenings. I keep a little tally in my head because I'm weird like that, and suddenly I realized I hadn't missed since I started. Like, 500 in a row. I checked my phone timer, it took about 35 minutes. I'm 34 and played JV in high school, I've never even hit 100 before. My best was like 60 something back in 2019. I had to stop because my dog started barking at a squirrel and my focus broke. But now I'm scared to go back out there because what if that was it, you know? Like I peaked and now I'll never get past 47 again. My wife thinks I'm being dramatic. But honestly, has anyone else hit some random milestone that felt huge in the moment but now it's just this weird pressure? Do I try to beat it or just let 500 be my thing forever?
