Oh man, the spare was ALSO flat? That is just brutal. I can't believe you checked the spare and it was flat too, like the universe really had it out for you that day. Forty five minutes is a lot of time to spend on the side of a busy highway like I-5, especially near Portland with all that traffic. I would have been so frustrated, probably just sat there for a minute after finding out about the spare. Hope you had a phone to call for help after all that work.
