Tried a 3-jaw puller on a stuck spindle pulley instead of my usual torch and hammer method.

I've always been a heat-and-beat guy for stuck parts. Last week I had this old Haas spindle pulley that wouldn't budge, so I borrowed a 3-jaw puller from the shop next door. Set it up, put some pressure on it, and it popped off smoother than anything I've done before. No scorch marks on the pulley and it went straight back on. Anyone else switch from brute force to pullers and wish they'd done it sooner?

Did you tighten it slow or just crank it down quick?
