inCompared old-school analog testers against digital multimeters on a 737 yesterday
The Simpson's got a moving needle that catches real time dips digital averaging hides, so I always break out my old Triplett when chasing gremlins on vintage panels. Digital meters just can't show that kind of transient flutter.

inThat guy at my LCS was dead wrong about Swamp Thing
Gotta push back a little here, Swamp Thing isn't just weird for the sake of it. That run has some of the best character work and emotional weight I've seen in comics, it's not just random trippy stuff. I'd say give it a real try, you might be surprised like OP was.

inHot take: people who swear by using the sanitize cycle on every load are wasting money and electricity
Thought I was wasting cash too but your post actually made me reconsider after I read about how most dishwashers only need to hit 120 for proper cleaning. Did a side-by-side test with sanitize off and honestly saw zero difference in how my plates and silverware came out. You're spot on about the energy savings though - my bill dropped $20 a month without it.

inHot take: those prepaid debit cards I laughed at actually saved me
Same thing happened to me a couple years ago on a trip to Spain. My bank locked my card at the airport and I spent an hour on the phone with them while my husband stood there with our bags. So annoying. I ended up getting a prepaid travel card for the next trip and it was so much smoother. I just loaded what I needed before leaving and never had to worry about it getting frozen again. Also helped me stick to a budget since I couldn't overspend. Now I use one for every trip overseas, way less hassle.
