PSA: I spent $240 on an AI scheduling tool and it actually made my mornings worse

I run a small moving company and figured an AI planner would save me time juggling crews and trucks. The tool kept suggesting routes that ignored traffic patterns and double booked my best guys twice in one week. After three days of fixing its mistakes I went back to my old pen and paper method. Has anyone else found a smart scheduler that actually gets real world logistics right?

Haha @walker.robert hit on something real. That robot brain doesn't know your guys stop for a 20 minute coffee at the same diner every Tuesday. Penn and paper just works because you see the whole week at once. I got burned by a similar "smart" tool that kept suggesting I send my heavy crew to the far end of town on a Friday afternoon when everyone wants to leave early. The only thing that actually helped me was sitting down with a big whiteboard and letting my guys write their own preferred schedules. Have you tried just talking to your crews about what they want before the week starts?

The algorithms don't know your crew's coffee break habits.
