Spent a day shadowing at a local print shop and saw something sketchy
I visited FastSigns in Columbus last week to ask about a career pivot, and the owner told me he's had 3 people quit in 2 months because they expected hands-on design work but got stuck doing sales calls all day. He said the job posting made it sound like creative freedom, but the reality was 80% cold calling. Has anyone else walked into a job that was totally different from the ad?

80% cold calling sounds like a design job wrote by someone who hates art.
