The switch from tutorials to reading docs changed everything for me

When I first started learning Python last spring, I watched like 40 YouTube tutorials and could copy code but never really got why it worked. Then I forced myself to read the official docs for 2 weeks, just one small section each day, and suddenly things started clicking in a way they never did before. Has anyone else hit that point where the boring reference material finally made more sense than all the flashy video guides?
