Got a Moccamaster 6 months ago and now I can't drink coffee anywhere else

The difference in taste from my old Mr. Coffee is NIGHT and day. The water hits that perfect 200 degree range every time now. Has anyone else had their home setup ruin diner coffee for them?

Wait isn't 200 degrees a bit hot for brewing coffee?

Saw a whole thing about that actually. Some coffee snob did a deep dive on temps and said 200 is pretty much the sweet spot for most light and medium roasts. Darker roasts they like it a little cooler, like 195 or so. The Moccamaster holds it steady which is what matters more than the exact number I think. My old machine would spike and drop all over the place, that's probably why my coffee tasted like hot brown water.
