The DSCR loan myth I keep seeing on here

Haha seriously! It's wild how people think DSCR loans are some kind of cheat code. You still need a decent credit score and no major red flags. I've seen folks with recent charge-offs get denied flat out. The lender is still taking a risk on you, just in a different way. It's not a free pass for bad financial habits.

Can we talk about storing wood for garage projects?

Perfect rack system for his offcuts." That line got me. I spent last summer building a set of wall-mounted shelves out of 2x4s and scrap plywood, only to realize my garage humidity was still wrecking everything. I finally broke down and bought a cheap dehumidifier from a thrift store, and now my wood actually stays straight long enough to use it.

Took me 10 years to realize I was torquing lug nuts in the wrong order

Did you check the stud threads for damage after that or just swap the wheel back on?

Just fixed a $300 mistake in our invoicing system

Wait hold on I think the thank you page and the email confirmation are actually two different things. The thank you page is the one that shows up right after someone submits a form on your site, it's not something that can go to a junk folder. But I totally feel your pain with the email thing, I had a similar issue where my order confirmations were getting filtered out and I didn't realize for months.

Talked to a librarian about my fantasy world and it made me scrap the whole magic system

Had a similar thing happen with my sci-fi project. I had this whole fuel system that needed different rare elements and the reader had to track which planet each one came from. A friend said "I feel like I'm reading a spreadsheet." Ended up cutting it down to two main fuel types and made one of them illegal to transport. Made the conflict way cleaner and let the story actually move. Sometimes you get too close to your own cleverness and someone outside helps you see the clutter.
