I blew $75 on a hand grinder everyone online swore by and it just sits in my drawer now
Back in 2021 I got talked into buying this fancy hand grinder after reading a bunch of forum threads where people said it was a game changer for pour over. Took me almost 4 minutes of cranking every morning for one cup, and my arm actually got sore, which felt ridiculous. My old $30 electric blade grinder made coffee that tasted fine to me, so I don't know what I was chasing honestly. Now it's buried behind my mugs and I use a cheap drip machine I got at a garage sale in Boise. Did anyone else get sucked into the hand grinder hype and end up going back to electric?
