Just realized my espresso machine scale was off by 2 grams
I've been pulling shots for months with my Breville and thought my ratios were perfect. Then I checked my scale against a calibration weight and found it was reading 2 grams light the whole time. My shots have been way over extracted and sour. Has anyone else had their gear secretly messing up their routine?

Yeah when you said "my ratio was perfect" that got me thinking - what did your shots actually taste like before you caught it? Were they always kinda off or did you just get used to the sourness over time?
