When a fan called out my bag-and-board method at a con, I made one switch and my books stopped curling

A guy at the Portland show last October pointed out I was storing my slabs upright in a plastic tote without any backing boards, and after I moved everything to acid-free boards with the flap facing down, my older issues from 2016 look flat as the day I bought them, how do you guys store your pricier books at home?
