PSA: A client's offhand comment about their old laptop battery changed how I explain repairs

Honestly, I was fixing a 2015 MacBook Air for a teacher in town last week, and I told her she needed a new battery. She sighed and said, 'It's just a ticking clock, right? I replace this, then the screen goes.' Ngl, that hit different because I always just give the price and move on. I realized I should start explaining what parts usually fail next on older models, so people can plan. Has anyone else started giving clients a quick 'what might go next' heads up during repairs?

Yeah, it's like a domino effect once a machine hits a certain age.

Ever notice how everything seems to fail in order?
