Found the controller sweet spot after my PC bricked mid-raid

Last month my gaming PC just died during a ranked match, screen went black and nothing. I was stuck with only a PS5 and my old fight stick, so I tried mapping the stick to play shooters. Turns out I set the deadzone way too high and it felt like driving a boat. After messing with the response curve for 2 hours, I got it dialed in and hit shots I never could on mouse and keyboard. Now I actually prefer the stick for certain games, which feels like a betrayal of everything I argued on here. Anyone else switched sides after a hardware failure forced their hand?
