Heard a kid at a bus stop say PC gamers just have 'too much money and time'

Was waiting on a ride last week in Birmingham and this teenager was talking to his friend about that whole console vs PC thing. He said PC guys spend $2,000 just to play Minecraft and then argue about frame rates nobody can actually see. It got me thinking, I've been a console guy my whole life and I never once worried about drivers or Windows updates crashing my game. Has anyone else ever had a random stranger just flip your view on this stuff?

Does anyone actually factor in the cost of replacing a broken controller every few months when adding up console costs...

Save the money on drivers and updates and put it into games instead. PC gaming is great if you love troubleshooting for an hour just to play something for twenty minutes. Console just works out of the box and that peace of mind is worth more than 4K ray tracing most people can't even notice.
