Hot take: my 5 year old PC finally died and fixing it was the best thing for my backlog
My power supply gave out on a random Tuesday night in March, right in the middle of a ranked match. I smelled something burning, the screen went black, and that was it. For two days I was stuck with nothing but my phone and a sad feeling. Then I remembered my brother left his old console at my place when he moved to Denver. I hooked it up to the TV and started playing through some single player games I never finished. No updates, no driver problems, no launcher issues. Just press the button and play. I got through three whole games in about a week and a half. It made me realize how much time I waste tinkering with settings instead of actually gaming. My new power supply shows up Friday, but honestly I might keep the console plugged in for a while. Has this happened to anyone else where a breakdown forced you onto the other platform and you kind of liked it?
