Hot take: my buddy in Waco said skip the $500 GPU and just get a Series S, and now I'm eating crow
About 5 months ago I was dead set on dropping $500 on a PC graphics card to play with my old high school crew, and my buddy Marcus in Waco told me to grab a Series S for $299 instead because the card would cost me more once I added a monitor and power supply. I laughed at him and bought the card anyway. Within 2 months my old 550 watt supply couldn't keep up, so I had to drop another $90 on a new one, and now I'm basically $600 deep for stuff my cousin runs fine on his Xbox. Anyone else get talked into the cheap console path and realize the PC guys were the ones overselling it?
