Swapped to a used console for one month, here's what broke my brain

My RTX 3080 rig went down last month and I refused to pay $700 for a new card, so I dusted off a used PS4 Pro from a pawn shop in Cleveland for $180. I spent 30 days ONLY playing on that thing, and honestly the load times and 30fps made me want to scream, but the lack of driver tinkering and shader stutter was weirdly freeing. Am I the only one who's flipped sides temporarily and ended up questioning their whole setup, or did my 4K snobbery just get exposed?

I did the same thing back when my 2070 died and I grabbed a used Xbox One X for like $150. The first week was rough with the 30fps and I kept reaching for settings menus that just weren't there. But after a while I stopped obsessing over pixel counts and just played games, which was kinda jarring. Now I'm back on PC but I capped my frame rate at 60 and turned off the overlay, just to keep that same calm vibe going.
