Serious question, why do so many people think the Denver airport murals are about aliens?
I was in Denver last week and took the airport art tour, which is a real thing they offer. The guide, a woman named Carol, pointed out that the weird murals are actually about peace and the environment, not some secret alien base. She showed us the artist's notes from 1994 that explain the symbols. I keep seeing online posts saying the blue horse statue is a demon, but it's just a horse that turned out weird. Has anyone else actually looked up the real story on this stuff?

Carol mentioned the artist, Leo Tanguma, specifically painted those murals for the kids of Denver. I saw the sketches myself, they're all about hope and not wrecking the planet. The conspiracy stuff is just people making up stories because the art style is old and a little creepy.

Man, people will see a weird looking horse and jump straight to "it's a portal to hell" lmao. They had to put a plaque next to that blue mustang statue because so many folks thought it was evil. The murals are just some 90s art about saving trees and not fighting wars, but show someone a weird lizard and suddenly it's proof of a secret bunker. I guess a boring truth is way less fun than a crazy story.
