Vent: the week I tracked every 'coincidence' in my city and it got weird fast

Last month in Austin, I decided to log every time two separate news stories or local posts mentioned the same random number or symbol within 48 hours. I expected maybe 3 hits all week. By Thursday I had 11 matches, including the '307' showing up in a traffic report, an apartment listing, and a missing dog poster. My spouse said I was pattern-seeking, and honestly they might be right, but the sheer frequency spooked me enough to delete my spreadsheet. Has anyone else tried this and found their brain just invents links where none exist? I'm half convinced I need a stricter method before I drive myself crazy.
