I counted up the RFIs on my last job and 41 of them were for the same wall

Last week I pulled the RFI log for a 60,000 sq ft school project we wrapped in Boise and the number that jumped out was 41. Forty one separate questions, all about the same shear wall detail nobody could read on the drawings. I sat there adding it up and realized the detail guy probably spent 80 hours answering stuff a 10 minute call with the architect could have killed on day one. Since then I started holding a quick 15 minute call with the design team the day before each concrete pour, and the log on my current job is at 6 RFIs with 3 weeks to go. Anyone else track their RFI count per detail, or am I just late to this?
