I finally switched from a daily stand-up to a weekly huddle on my current site in Phoenix.
We were doing 15 minute meetings every morning at 7 AM sharp, but half the crew was always late or forgot key updates. Last month, I moved to one 45 minute meeting every Monday, with a printed agenda and a whiteboard for action items. Has anyone else found a better rhythm for crew communication on a fast-paced job?

Yeah, that weekly huddle sounds way better... we tried the daily thing on a site last year and it just fell apart after a week.

Fell apart after a week" is the real story for a lot of those daily plans. Weekly just sticks better.
