A contractor in Boise wrote 'too vague' on my review and it made me rethink how I rate everybody
I left a review for a roofer in Boise last spring and two days later he called me, not mad, just confused. He said my review said 'good work, fair price' and that told the next customer nothing about what he did. He asked me to name the actual repairs, so I added the new flashing and the 6 shingles he swapped out. I started reading other reviews closer after that and noticed the ones that help me are the ones with details, not stars. Now I write down dates, the specific fix, and what the final bill came to before I post anything. My last 4 reviews all mention a dollar amount and a repair, and one plumber in Nampa wrote back thanking me. Do you put numbers and fixes in your reviews, or just a rating and a sentence?
