Best week I've had in corporate comms was when I accidentally went silent

Last month I had a crazy week where my email crashed for three days. IT couldn't fix it fast. I panicked at first, but then I noticed something weird - people actually started calling me instead of emailing. I got more done in those three days than the whole month before. One VP even said 'I finally feel like we're talking instead of typing.' Has anyone else had a forced communication slowdown that actually helped?

Three days without email is a nice break but let's not act like it's some huge productivity revelation. You probably just had a light week and didn't need to do much.
