That lip flip I tried last month was honestly a waste of $250

I went to a med spa in Austin after seeing all these TikTok videos about how a lip flip gives you that perfect pout without filler. The nurse used Botox above my lip and it only took like 5 minutes. For the first week I couldn't even drink out of a straw right, my top lip was that stiff. By week three the effect was so subtle that nobody noticed, not even my mom who I see every Sunday. I feel like the whole thing is hyped up way more than it delivers. Has anyone else had a lip flip that actually made a difference?

Watched a YouTube video where a girl compared her lip flip to eating a really good burger and I was Sold. So I drop $300 at this med spa in Dallas and for two weeks I couldn't whistle or kiss my girlfriend without feeling like I had a rubber band across my mouth. Then the effect wore off and my lips looked exactly the same as before except now I was out the cash. My mom said I looked like someone tried to vacuum seal my face and gave up. Definitely felt like I paid to look weird for a month.

@Parkerl33 your mom's vacuum seal comment got me, that's brutal. It's like everyone's chasing this fake perfection on TikTok but in real life nobody notices or it just looks wrong, same with the lash lift trend I tried last year.
