I mean, I get that loop, but for me it's the opposite. That long stretch on one shot is where the good stuff happens. I had a car commercial last month where the blue just wouldn't sit right for three days. By the end, I found a look I never would have if I rushed it. The doubt is part of the process, not a time sink. It's how you know you're digging past the easy fix. Maybe it's just me, but that week of tweaking feels less like a puzzle and more like the actual job.
