That one client comment about my mixing bowls flipped my process

A bridal client last Saturday watched me mix color in a plastic bowl and goes, 'you're not using one of those fancy glass ones?' I laughed it off but it got me thinking. I switched to glass for two weeks and yeah, the color reads way truer against the bowl, especially with reds and coppers. Has anyone else noticed a difference or am I just in my own head about this?
