A retired operator in Biloxi told me something about boom angles that's been stuck in my head all week
He said 'the load tells you the truth, but only if you stop arguing with it,' and now I'm second guessing every lift where I fought the sway instead of reading it, has anyone else had a random comment from an old hand completely rewire how they run the sticks?

Letting the machine settle before grabbing the load fixed more lifts than any fancy timing trick ever did.
