Swing brake failed on a Liebherr LTM 1050 near downtown Austin yesterday

I was bringing down a steel beam for a 4-story building and the swing brake just let go, the whole crane started drifting with a 3-ton load hanging. Had to feather the swing lever and use the counter-jack to stabilize it before setting the load down on a flatbed. Anyone else had a swing brake lock up on them in heavy load conditions?
